Where did you spend your long weekend last month?

3 days is not too long nor too short a holiday. At times like this, we often look for short distance getaway like a 2 days trip to Melaka or Penang but we always end up drenching our energy both physically and mentally. By the time it's first day of getting back to our usual routine, we're like exhausted zombies. Haha.

Don't you agree with me?

Instead, why not have get onboard the SuperStar Libra Cruise and have a relaxing holiday. By the end of the trip, you'll get re-energized for the week instead! Never been on a cruise trip? Follow me on my two days onboard the cruise!

 // Can't wait to explore! //

First stop, let's enjoy this UNLIMITED REFILL Royal High Tea with sea view! My friends and I have cleared up the entree level before we even thought of taking pictures! Shows how badly we need to feed ourselves before we start touring all the fun section in the cruise! My favourite is Baked Mushroom Mini Pie, Salmon Quiche, Smoked Duck on Mini Baguette! Read more about the Royal High Tea here!

Can't believe that I spent 2 hours enjoying the high tea! Lucky I'm in a dress which can cover my full tummy! Haha. How a bout a glamorous shot first? Does it look real to you? It's actually a 3D print and there's more of it along one of the corridor. It is a gallery of 3D print and there is actually instruction to teach you how to take a really 3D picture with it!

Here's another one if you missed it on my instagram!

For those who have a young family and am thinking of whether you should bring them along, don't worry! Just bring the kids along and still have a relaxing getaway! There's tons of different board games and also sports facility to keep the kids occupied! Right onboard, there is a swimming pool and also basketball court! You don't even have to bring your own basketball because you can just rent one right here.

For an alternative, there's the Stardust Lounge with entertaining shows! It has been sometime since I witness stunts performed by some really professional entertainers! I'm amazed that it was full house during the performance even though the lounge is really huge. Some are free for everyone to enjoy while some some is available for purchase. Just enquire the attendants at the counter to get more info.

Now, for the most exciting section of the cruise, for me at least, the Sun Deck! The view is <3

I managed to catch the sunset before it disappears. Such a pretty sight! It definitely feels different to be looking at Penang from the sea. The sun deck is filled with beach chairs where we can just lay down and enjoy the sunset + sea breeze. At night, it will be the moon and stars + sea breeze.

Which one do you like better?

// Come and enjoy the Sun Deck with me //

Now that I'm a little low on energy, it's time to check out the room! Get a short rest and shower to refresh before enjoy the many facilities on board. Did you know that there's Salon, Massage Parlour, Jewelry Shop, and also Tax Free Shop onboard? It's just like a mini town in a ship! Amazing, right? I feel like I'm in Spirited Away, cruise ship edition. Haha.

Here's a short tour on the types of room available;

 // Oceanview Stateroom w/ Window - 2 beds //

Similar with Oceanview Stateroom w/ Porthole.

 // Oceanview Stateroom w/ Window - 4 beds //

  // Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom - 1 queen size bed //

   // Executive Suite - 1 King Size Bed + 3 Seater Sofa Lounge //

If you're looking for the most luxe of all rooms, this is the one! Love the King Size Bed, TV lounge with mini bar table and also the marble washroom! Definitely makes me feel like a queen! <3

   // Junior Suite Valentine Edition - 1 King Size Bed //

For those who are planning for a sweet romantic proposal, this is for you! It will melt her heart, she will definitely say YES! Not only that, it is suitable for all romantic getaways be it honeymoon or anniversary celebration! :)

Right now, I'm just going into a deep sleep on the most comfortable room and get ready to catch the sunrise!

The night is short and the day is long when it's time to wake up to catch the sunrise at 7.00am. Waking up at 6.30am would be ideal with 1/2 hour to get ready. The deck was already filled with people even before 7.00am. Guess everyone is excited to catch the sun!

Once the sun is visible, it goes up pretty quickly. So better prepare to pose with the sun before it leaves the sea level. The last few moments for me to enjoy my sea breeze! Hehe.

Breakfast time before I need to pack and leave the cruise. The Chinese breakfast served here at Ocean Palace is quite good! It's buffet style so we get to choose whatever we like. Favourite of the lot would the the self-selection porridge and also the Lotus Leaf Rice. Of course, there is also more selections to it such as salad, toast and bee hoon to name a few.

Waking up to breakfast on a cruise is bliss.

Finally, it's time to say Goodbye! It was truly a more relaxing trip compare to many other I have had before. I hope everyone have got some idea how a cruise holiday is like! Pretty much is spending holiday in a club but instead of on land, this is on a cruise ship and with sea view!
