" - with great power comes great responsibility "

I think this phrase is quite common to everyone and just like what it means, our world is advancing in terms of science and technology, knowledge and much more but at the same time, these comes with a responsibility we all have to bear. The advancement of the human race also brings together new  treats to the human race such as increasing pollution and other ever evolving health issue namely, cancer and cell mutations.

Prof. Lu Sheng Nan, Vice Dean of CGMH, Chiayi.

Hence, it is also the responsibility of the human race to grow, improve, advance and equip with medical knowledge, technique, procedure and equipment to counter these treats. Some of the most advanced medical healthcare industry can only be found in a few countries namely, America, Europe, Singapore and Taiwan.

However, probably not many knew about the affordable pricing albeit Taiwan's medical care renowned for its high quality advance technology, professionalism and success rate. In fact,  the cost of medical treatment in Taiwan is just about one-fifth to the treatment cost in Europe and US. It is also a relieve to know that the distance a patient would need to travel to get the medical treatment to Taiwan is so much closer!

The Taiwanese medical industry has been actively keeping up to date with the latest medical innovations, technologies, equipments, not to mention is comprised of highly trained medical professionals who are able to provide outstanding medical care and services with 13 Joint Comission International (JCI) accredited hospitals across Taiwan. In 2018 alone, Taiwan has received more than 420,000 overseas patients coming in for treatments and that includes 20,000 patients coming from Malaysia alone.

One of the reason Taiwan is one of the top choice for overseas patients is not only because of the pricing and medical advancement but also because they have one of the most completed medical system in the world, enabling patients to get a complete treatment all in one place without stressing on further complications.

With proven good medical treatment results and travel services provided for oversea patients and their relatives, Taiwan Medical Industry image has been steadily increasing over the years and this can be seen with the increasing number of patients coming from Malaysia.
