This is a confession post.
*takes a deep breath*
Here it goes... one of the reason I like flowers in a bouquet is because I'm bad at flower arrangements! Now the whole world knows. ugh... >.<
But thennnn!!! There's a new surprise going around town and I don't want to miss it!
Why? Because it has something to do with floral! So... must... subscribe!
First surprise arrived last Thursday and it got me so excited!
Usually, I wouldn't bother to check who rang the doorbell but that day, I
was all ears for the doorbell! You can imagine how excited I was~
Finally,
the surprise arrived in a long flat box package. It was late noon and
the sight of the package got me wondering if the flowers suffocated
after a long journey, if the flowers would have folding lines or if they
were crammed inside the box.
I open up the package to a lovely message with a personal greeting. Nothing feels more personal than have a message directed to myself. The surprises were carefully protected with a layer of soft wrapping and elegantly hold together with a perfectly tied ribbon. Have to admit that I have a soft spot for beautiful perfectly tied ribbons. *melts*
I unfold to a variety stalk of delicate flowers, most of which I would not expect to receive at all. Besides a personal greeting card, another reads the type of flowers in this surprise box; Eustoma / Peacock / Agapanthus / Rose / Matthiola.
I suppose most of you, like me, would not know which is which according to the names. I was impressed with the extra effort in providing some flower knowledge.
Eustoma refers to the Rose like purple flower while
Peacock is the one which look like little white daisies. As for the white
Rose, I guess everyone knows which it is. ^^
The big stalk with many spread out purple petals is called
Agapanthus while the soft looking petals which comes in pink and purple colour is called
Matthiola. I was pretty attracted to
Matthiola by it's name together with it's delicate form and colour.
As can be seen, the flowers came in looking extremely fresh, with almost unnoticeable folding and browning. Another strong selling point coming from BloomThis is that they deliver the freshest flower I have ever received so far.

I found out there's not flower vase in the house.. *inserts swt face emoticon* BUT.. I manage to come out with something!

Super in love with this addition in the house. Swear it brightens up the dull space and compound a whole lot! Every morning I wake up, I thought about the flowers and they just makes me smile. Don't ask me why girls like flowers.. I guess it's because they are so pretty~
From the day I received the flowers, some bloom into more beautiful flowers and all of them manage to stay perfectly fresh till up to 4-5 days later. It's exciting to see some bloom from the buds.
Just as you were wondering what else is there on the cards; tips for beautiful arrangements and ways to lengthen the lifespan of these beautiful flowers were shared. According to the tips, changing the water everyday and trimming the bottom of the flower stem in at a slant every few days will keep the flowers looking fresh longer. Very useful information indeed.
