I have always been impressed and love the Christmas theme + decorations the Mid Valley and The Gardens team put up every year. It's been so many years that I have not really hold up a proper camera and do some photo shooting just because it is something I love to do.

Glad that finally I have some moments recently and here is a compilation of photos which I have taken at Mid Valley and The Gardens. Also thanks to the Malaysia Olympus team for giving me the opportunity to try out some of their cameras and lenses.

For this shoot, I'm using 📷 OLYMPUS OM-D E-M10 MarkIII + 25mm f1.2 PRO

It has been raining almost everyday recently and I thought you might need some colours to cheer you up. ^^

While I was at Singapore, I coincidentally stumble upon a few colourful buildings which are within walking distance. It is actually few of the many beautiful landmarks of Singapore which tourist are fascinated with.

// Market of Haji Lane //

First up, you might want to drop by Haji Lane. Pick weekends if you want to go shopping and Monday if you want to get some serene and quiet portrait shots.

Haji Lane is one of the upcoming tourist attraction filled with nostalgic memories hidden in this fast paced country. Here, you might find an old wooden door, a bicycle, an old lane, a wall mural which is worth your camera's glance.

An instagram worthy spot.

  // Colours of Haji Lane//

 // Haji Lane Hipster Cafe & Bar //

On some nooks and corners, you will stumble upon a few hipster cafe and bar to chill out with your friends under the sun. The murals are beautifully drawn with their own identity, it's bound to capture your attention as you pass by.

  // Haji Lane Hipster Cafe & Bar //

// Rocher Centre Colour Flats //

At the crossroad near Haji Lane, you will find the perfect spot to capture all four colours of the Rocher Centre Colour Flats. I like how they played with the gradients of colours instead of just a single tone for the whole building or the common paint pattern.

// Bugis Street Colourful Staircase //

Thirdly, you might want to check out these colourful staircase to heaven! The milky colours are somewhat relaxing and attractive to me. These colourful staircase can be found along the alleyway just beside the bustling Bugis Street.

Colourful Buildings of Singapore.

Today's a bad day with all the crazy traffic going on. Can't help feeling frustrated! I hate it every time of the year when it gets really close to Chinese New Year because everyone choose to complete their errands or go for shopping at the very very last minute.

If my description fits any one of you, please make it a resolution next new year that you will not leave your to do list until the very last minute. Let's welcome the Chinese New Year in a good mood instead.

Anyhow, I'm SO glad to be skipping malls this year for my outfit shopping this year. Thanks to online shopping, it's fuss free and an enjoyable one this year. (;

If you still have not got your new clothes by now, I would really recommend you to skip the mall at all cost! Try out online shopping at Toki Choi instead and you won't regret it! I got most of mine from there and what I got matches the picture and the sizing pretty well! (:

This is actually my second time purchasing from them. You can view the outfits from my first purchase here

Cold shoulder top and dressing are now making waves in every girl's wardrobe. I would understand why because they look astoundingly feminine and beautiful! Together with floral prints, Cold Shoulder Tie Front Top matches easily with skirt to give a really feminine look or even with a pair of jeans for a casual day out.

Red symbolizes Chinese New Year and it is always a must to get at least one piece or red apparel to celebrate the occasion. Are you one of those who are still sticking to this tradition as well?

Instead of one, I actually got 2 instead. One of it would be this High Low Hem Tee. Casual designs like these are my favourite because they provide comfort but yet makes you look good effortlessly.

A choice of long sleeve red casual top this year because of the crazy weather. It's maximum sun in the morning but the next thing you know, it starts to rain cats and dogs. This will save me from catching a cold ^^ Put on a long necklace to add some fun to your outfit if this seems too plain.

My second selection for a red top is this Knitted Cozy Top with Ribbon Tie Back. You would think I am crazy to be getting two very similar top but to tell the truth, I could not resist this! Right at the back is this cute Ribbon Tie Back which makes it all special!

Although named a Knitted Cozy Top, the material is actually not too warm for our Malaysia weather. In fact, it was just right for me, considering the temperature is getting low at night lately.

You like it? That's why I fell in love with. <3
Do check out the other colours which they have. The blue's love too!

If you like what you just saw, here's the links;

Here I am drafting out my blogpost to share with you what fun outfit you can create with a feminine tulle skirt! Summer holiday is about to start but it's constantly all rain with a little bit of sun for now.

However, that does not mean we should stop all the fun of dressing up and just cover ourselves with drappy dark colour clothings to shelter from the cold.

Stay fabulous even if the day is gloomy and take advantage of all the sun we have when it's not raining!

I've always love mesh layer tulle skirts! No, it's not the typical puffy tutu that the graceful ballerina wears but skirts inspired from these mesh tutu skirts!

Wear it smart casual with a body hugging top or smart collar shirt like above plus a pair of white heels. It gives a energetic graceful look, fit for smart casual events.

Next option would be to match up for a casual day out. Wear the tulle slightly highwaisted with a crop shirt and you're ready to go!

It's comfy and it gives a perfectly chic girly look with the soft and pastel colour. A pair of ballerina pump will complete the feminine casual outfit.

But I like to pair it with my tan boots will turn it all around to a boyish x feminine look.

What's your style?

If you have a different combi, do comment and share it with me!

One of the changes blogging has brought me was to force myself out of my introvert comfort zone. To be honest, until now, people can still sense my shyness when they are aware of my quietness. Sometimes, it is not being shy to talk, but lost of words to speak of.

I was never the model material although people might say I look like one, perhaps out of courtesy, perhaps just because of my height. However, I feel lucky to be able to at least experience this for a second time. (;

Without further a due, let's roll the negatives and get the photo shoot starting!

Have you ever experienced a professional Makeover+Photoshoot? Those who answered no, I'm with you.

Sorry, I lied. I just did yesterday.

Well, that is if I didn't take into account that macam yes potrait shoot I had many many years back. I still remember it was one of the counter cosmetic  brand which was running a small 'promotion'. My mom was required to make a purchase above a certain amount and she will be entitled to get a 'portrait shoot + make-up' for RM50. Mom was being lovely and treated me to it. The photos came out with me looking like a China porcelain wrapped in a furry collar jacket. Not a very nice memory.

Never thought I would have a chance to experience a real professional Makeover+Photoshoot. Maybe just flip through magazines and dream about it. Hahaha.

I stop dreaming yesterday. Everything became a reality! <3

UAE のはなび

Long due photos! Was not motivated to crop the photos as most of them are totally not presentable. Lol..

I was late, which leads to a totally unprepared setting, it was smoky, then it was drizzling and then it drizzle heavily. So much excuses. Lol..

Anyway, here's a few of the most presentable ones among the lot. Sorry for the smoky, tiny fireworks =/ I think I just belittled them..

ちゅうごくチームのはなび~

The weather wasn't siding China yesterday. It started raining before I left ma house but it actually got me more excited. Lol. After dinner, I finally left house with a hopeful spirit because it was still drizzling softly. As I reach Persiaran Lakeview, the drizzle still continues but it's good enough that it has soften down.

Although the weather wasn't perfect, there were more patrons compare to the day before. Many has set up their tripods, shielding with umbrellas while patiently and eagerly waiting for the show to start. I don't even know if it is going to start as planned due to the weather. Kids behind me was even counting down to 10 p.m. but it din't start at 10 p.m. Haha..

Much to our relief, there was announcement after some minutes and the show began! ^^

China was very generous with their fireworks. They were huge, fast, numerous and very fancy ^^ If you are a spectator, you would totally be awed by the show they put up but if you are a photographer, you would be a little dampen because there were smokes captured in most of the photos due to China's quick and generous shots. Haha..

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures albeit the smokes..

フランスチームのはなび~

It was time for Team France to perform yesterday! Overall, I think they did okay.. Photos turn out nice but it starts to get smoky after a while and the whole sky turns grey and photo turns crappy..
