Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami - this is what the cafe is built up based on, a magical realism. I love how simple and serene the interior feels, just white walls with furniture of dark contrast colour. It brings calmness and creates immediate fondness of the place. :)

Cafe Latte (RM10)

A lover of flat white but there was none here so I went ahead with the Cafe Latte. It was plain simplicity but yet succeed in captivating the kiddy fluttering heart in me. It was a taste of really smooth milk with medium roast beans. Not an empowering coffee but good for the majority.

I have yet to order the much raved about Hot Earl Grey Milk Tea (RM10) but would definitely make it a point to try it out next visit!

Their menu has also been simple and straight forward, leaving you an ease of choice to make. Still, I have not heard any recommendation for other selections besides their best seller souffle and matcha lava. Therefore, for any one's first visit, it's best to stick with the majority's choice!

I had a second visit during the Chinese New Year and every table was practically grabbed up! Still, it was spacious with their arrangement of furniture with much space in between each table.

One thing which reduce the hospitality would be the crazy amount of noise created with the uncontrollable raising of customer's voice, trying to successfully convey their message over to their listener.

If only everyone would soften down their voice to create a comfortable environment for everyone to truly enjoy the place. Hence, it is very much advisable to come during off peak hours.

*commercial break*

Seasonal Oolong Souffle (RM17) - Oolong flavoured Souffle served with Honey Drew Calamansi (or Grape Fruit) Sorbet and a choice of syrup:
a. orange sauce
b. osmantus maple syrup
c. salted caramel

The texture was soft and moist but it lacks of omph. Perhaps the flavour was not my type of souffle as it did not elevate the experience. Perhaps I should have tried out the Vanilla instead. Flavour does play an important role in a dessert. Vanilla should probably be doing a much better job at satisfying my tastebud.

The souffle goes well with or without the maple syrup as well. So it depends if you would enjoy the souffle with more sweetness.

Midori's Heart (RM24) - Puffed Matcha Lava rained with icing sugar and served with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Instead, this is the one which captured my heart. Because I'm a Matcha fan ^^ Not just that but I really think they made it really well. It was prefectly cooked inside and outside without any sogginess but hot flowing matcha lava once you slice it open.

So much heaven! <3

Vanilla ice-cream is just common with nothing to shout about but it is always nice to be paired with a hot lava cake (; Price is not too wallet friendly though but it is definitely a satisfying indulgence. I wouldn't mind it once in a while..

Definitely looking forward to another visit to try out the Hot Earl Grey Milk Tea and Vanilla Souffle~
