Hello from the Deliciously Ella Event! Well, it's not exactly about wellness food. Instead, it's natural and organic food processed to produce skin care products! We have always read about home made beauty remedies but we were never really sure about the benefits or the effect. So, it's best to leave it to the experienced and professionals!

The name, Neal's Yard Remedies (NYR) is new to my ears and might be to some of you who is as unaware as me but I'm glad to cross path with this very promising brand. Their spirit to go against synthetic chemical approach on skin and health care for more than 30 years is what impressed me. The company's passionate belief that health and beauty should be more natural, less synthetic, kind to people and the environment is very inspiring indeed.

NYR must have been impressed by Ella Woodward, who decided to take charge of her body improvement with plant based recipes during her fight to overcome a rare illness called the Postural Tachycardia Syndrome  Inspired by this author of award-winning food blog, DeliciouslyElla.com, NYR decided to collaborate with Ella to formulate a new skincare collection, Deliciously Ella.

3 main categories which a natural skincare should consist of are; essential fatty-acids, hyaluronic acid and antioxidant.

Essential Fatty Acids - important for the formation of healthy cells membranes, proper development and function of the brain and nervous systems, healthy skin and hair and more. They can be found from most seeds.

Hyaluronic Acid - a very important long chain of 'sugar' which helps to retain moisture in our body with notable benefits to our skin and joints. Naturally within us and animals, they can also be found from plants such as corn and cucumber.

Antioxidant -  chemicals which interact towards free radicals to prevent them from causing damage to our cells, thus also helps to keep our body youthful and defer aging. Easily found in plant extracts.

These 3 categories can easily be found within my healthy jar and within the Deliciously Ella Collection.

The main ingredients used to formulate the facial wash and moisturizer within this collection are Rose (Essential Fatty Acids) , Lime (Antioxidant) and Cucumber (Hyaluronic Acid). Other key ingredients include blueberry oil, acai fruit oil and tumeric.

Formulated with some of the highest quality natural and organic ingredients from Ella's skin-loving superfoods, the facial wash will gently cleanse  away all impurities, leaving the skin feeling clean and clear with a healthy glow. It also helps to nourish all skin types and enhance a glowing complexion.

The Facial Wash (100ml) retails for RM119.

This bottle of organic moisturizer promises to nourish all skin tyspes, leaving the skin with a silky-smooth and radiant glow. Infused with powerful antioxidants such as blueberry and acai fruit oil, it also helps to protects the skin from environmental pollution and damage which are now so common in our everyday life.

The Moisturizer(100ml) retails for RM179.

Besides all the goodness it does to our skin, the Deliciously Ella Collection also lifts up my mood with every usage. Both the facial wash and moisturizer carries a calming and fresh fragrance as it carries the scent of organic rose and lime essential oils infused with cucumber water. It actually makes me look forward to my skin care routine with them instead of having a lazy mindset to care for my skin.

Try it out for yourself today!

Going up to Genting to get some breeze, away from the hot and humid KL. There's a lot of delicious food along the way but also a lot of expensive places. :D You can also stop by on the way down hill, after a draining trip to Genting as well. :)

One of the recommended place for good food would be this place, Restoran Tak Kee! This restaurant has a few highly recommended dishes where regulars would order the same thing over and over again. We ordered the above 3 dishes for 2 person's portion.

One of the must try would be this Claypot Sang Har Tong Fun / Claypot Prawn Noodle. the prawn was really fresh and prawn infused broth taste sweet and addictive! It goes really well with the smooth glass noodle. Imagine a rice wine broth. Yumm! Highly recommended!

The other recommended noodle dish would be the slight soup base Lala Bee Hoon / Small Clamp Soup Noodle

This Crispy Fried Pork Belly Strip taste like a snack dish. I just love the crispy crunch when munching on it. The sweet sauce coating just brings the experiencea a notch up! So heavenly! <3

Last but not least, stir-fry vegetable! This made it to my favourite list recently, Stir-Fry Tin Chat. Simple but satisfying.

Can you see the glow on my face?! Maybe not so much. Haha..

It was night shift for me and coming back home past midnight, I was just thinking of the bed and nothing else but guess what? I was greeted with this pretty bouquet and birthday cakes! Yes, a combination of cake slices! :D

Couldn't say this enough but I love 'em flowers! I'm a girl who's heart flutters at beautiful flowers. :) Just so you know (or anyone else)... flowers are from Floristika at Bangsar. I would not say flowers are extremely cheap there but prices are reasonable. Wrapping service is available above.

I love this place because flowers here are really fresh.

Throwback new unicorn hair colour from Groom Artistry! All about it here.

Faint colour is love. What's your favourite?

Hightlight stop for the day is Bean Brothers. A place I have been wanting to visit for so long! Finally we made it here! This place is huge, considering that it took up a factory lot!

As if it's not the biggest cafe I've been to, this place consist of 2 floors! The upper floor give you more space for privacy and quietness. Just perfect for work and study.

Right behind me is a wall with a few big frame for each outlet there is in Korea - Incheon, Gangnam, Shindorim, Henan, Google Campus and more! They're not just like any booming cafe but one you should take seriously considering the size of their every outlet, consistency of their perfection of interior, management of every outlet and most importantly, their specialization in coffee.

The circling bar seat on the higher level is good for people watching :D Especially when you have a curious devil in you always wondering how your cup of coffee is made.

I'm very inlove and impressed with the induatrial design with combination of wood work. Though like a run down factory ruin with sights of rust and raw cement openings, everything was almost sparkling clean.

As I was saying about their coffee, we had a try on their fruity flora beans in long black and flat white. Almost never before have I tasted an extraction of fruity or floral coffee in a cup of  flat white before. The fruity and floral taste was vivid. It was stronger in aroma when the coffee enters my mouth. Very much recommended.

The lower ground is a more casual and public space. Although place has huge, lighting and audio was carefully coordinated.

The kitchen was closed when I visited, open only on very limited times. Not sure about now though. Hopefully the kitchen is open more often now. It would be good to have some food after some work considering the place is pretty far away to get food.

Outfit of the day...
High waisted short from Forever21
Red White Stripe Crop Top from Mng
Sling Back from XES

Scrolling back to the visit to Groom Artistry end of May this year! A must visit to the Salon after a very long time! The last I visit to the salon before this was before Chinese New Year.

How much my hair has grown, it's time to make them even again but most importantly, give them a new colour! <3

Groom Artistry is situated near KLCC, in The Intermark

Most people might not be familiar with The Intermark but they do have a nice food court at the lower level, together with Village Grocer. Love this place because they have got some really good cheesy mash potato! My favourite craving at the moment! <3

While going for any treatment, you can request these friendly people here to help you get some food or drinks in case you are having some cravings.

If you are driving, best time to visit this place is after working hour on weekdays and on the weekends for a flat rate parking fee.

Their interior is raw and simple. Mostly cement flooring and wall with some wooden elements.

Random picture of my converse sneakers coz they look so good here :D

After hours and hours of bleaching, colouring and waiting, the result is finally out! It's <3

Thanks to Carina (the pretty stylist at the center) for the mix of colours! You can always set an appointment with her because she is really good with colours :)

Top layer is ash brown all over. Bottom was a gradient of Green -> Blue -> Purple. Felt like a unicron colour!

Front and back look. I always love hidden bright colours at the bottom layer shadowed by the top hair layer with less eye-catching colour.

My favourite colours are always the bright colours / ash colour / faded colours. <3

It was a very comfortable visit even though my first there with them; Aishah, Carina, Jerry. Their boss make it a point that they must make every visitor feels at home all the time. Missing from the picture is the young chatty PR girls, Emily.

Below is the colour transition as time pass;

2 weeks after.

6 weeks after.

Visited the salon a second time and got this new ash colour by Jerry. Top layer ash brown + bottom layer ash grey 8-5

Which is more of your style? Carina's work or Jerry's work? Well, either one, they are all done at the Groom Artistry! Call them up for an appointment today and let them know Patricia / Tenshi referred you for a special price! *wink

P.S. Tokyo is finally 1! It is definitely a new milestone achievement to see this place able to grow and finally reach a year old.

So what's better than to share the joy with everyone? Psst, surprises awaits at the end of the post!

A year old it is and a celebration with joy must not be missed! It was a moment of simple but meaningful gathering. Everyone had a good time mingling and enjoying the desserts, even making their own rendition of a parfait.

The cafe was decorated with classy elegant black and white balloons in collaboration with The Balloons. The giant balloon and silver star was icing on the cake! If you ever need balloons to spike up your event, do drop them a message!

Everything was kept to minimalist, in-line with the cafe environment. The French Crullers Dessert Bar had collaborated to decorate the party table with a macaron tower and beautifully decorated cupcakes. They are not only good for display but taste delicious as well. She is definitely one of the baker that can make beautiful yet tasty desserts! <3 Totally recommended!

It was definitely a fun filled celebration with all blogger friends! However, not forgetting the crowd for their support towards P.S. Tokyo all year long, there will be surprises and promotions, hopefully to get everyone excited.

P.S. Tokyo anniversary actually falls on 4th October, 2016 when free mini soft serves were given out! If you have missed out these delicious Japanese soft serves, perhaps try your hands on these going-to-be-launched Japanese Hot Cakes!
